[23] Curling Up with a Great Book

Night Before Christmas Book

An old fashioned book

The weather outside is frightful, but the book in my lap is quite delightful. There is something comforting about holding a real, hard bound book, with pages to turn. Reading “A Night Before Christmas” from a tattered old copy is a requirement during the season.

This Saturday, December 11th two majestic Christmas moments come together and magic happens. Story time at 10:30 a.m. will be led by the big jolly man himself, Santa Claus, and you know what he will be reading. With the move to The Shoppes on Pearl St., Apple Blossom Books has greatly expanded the space available for the reading. So bring every one down for a magical Christmas moment.

Always a treat, a new book

This is also an opportunity to check out some other classics, A Christmas Carol, or perhaps A Christmas Story. Find one that you can read to someone tonight.

Apple Blossom has aisles and aisles of books, but with all the new space, there is an opportunity to carry a variety of nicknacks, trinkets and stocking stuffers. Dig your sled out, strap antlers onto your dog and trudge though the snow to Apple Blossom this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for story time with Santa. Even if you don’t have or know any children, this reading will probably make you feel like one yourself.
