A few tips before I get into the heart of disemboweling birds: a deep skillet; preferably cast iron; is mandatory; only use buttermilk; bacon fat is a great lard; a crunchy vegetable in undercooked; and it is required to taste as you go along, those calories do not count.
As two of my favorite critics always said, “see you at the movies.”
Imagine if New Year’s Day was on a Tuesday, right now we would all be back at work. Does that make today a little better? Sunday, January 2nd is that extra day we all need to mentally and physically prepare for not having a single day off (unless you are a public employee) until Easter.
